Triples at Teeter for 11/04

My shopping trip at 6am...with both kiddos in tow (Big Papa works 3rd Shift) but nothing was cleaned out yet, and no bumping elbows trying to get the Mustard!  The only things purchased without a Triple-able coupon was the Meal of the Week and the E Vic item. I URGE you to sign up for EVIC, the items change every week and they seem to range under $1. This morning 99 cents got me a 5 pound bag of sugar! Thank you E Vic! Now Meal of the Week...

1 64 oz Orange Juice
1 6 Count Bagel (Cinnamon Raisin or Plain)
1 cream cheese
1 bag southern hash browns
1 pkg Bacon

$5.99

Now my Tripleness.....
Total was $101.77 (altogether I had to make 2 trips to accomplish this because you can only use 20 coupons at a time. I just split up my basket and they have never given me a hard time)

Total Vic Savings $17.43 (I thought the Vic Savings were a bit wimpy)
Total Coupon Savings $50.95

I paid....$33.39!

That includes batteries, 2 half gallons of Organic Milk, the previously mentioned breakfast deal and 5 pound bag of sugar, dish soap, chicken broth, and 1 of each packages of YoKids and YoBaby yogurt!

9/17 Triple Coupon Day 2

So most of my under $1 items, or free item coupons were used yesterday. It gets picked over quick, which can be frustrating. I wish they would stock better at the Teeter up the road, but I digress...
This morning I spent right at $312 which is good for us, I did have to do 2 different transactions back to back because they only take 20 coupons at a time.  I got some stock ups, some big dolla things (organic chicken, a brisket, organic dog food, "insert eye rolling here" and diapers) Here is how I made out on paper....
Total VIC Savings  $61.95
Total Coupons  $124.69
TOTAL SAVINGS: $186.64

WHEW! For a family of 4, and again, mostly organic (I know some of you other mamas can do better, but for us, and our grass fed, free range, whole food eating selves) that is AWESOME!

Here is the best deal IMO....if you buy 15 General Mills/Pillsbury items, you get an automatic $5 at the register. But with the 3 for $6 cereal, plus $1.00 off coupon, you've just gotten 3 boxes of cereal for FREE!!! Nicely done!

Now onto my FAVORITE buy (this is for Amy) I loaded up on Smashies. I have a 14 month old in the house, and if you haven't yet discovered these, you are MISSING OUT! Smashies! No sugar, No HFCS, ORGANIC! And EASY BREEZY! I crack one open for TwiddleBug, in the car, in the store, at home, and healthy snack/happy baby accomplished! The Mouse also especially enjoys these in his lunchbox! (and no spoon needed!) They are relatively inexpensive and the mango are by far our favorite...GO TRY THESE MOMMIES! MiMi gives two thumbs up!

TripleNess at Teeter

This morning I did my first Teeter run of the week. When it's Triples, I go at LEAST twice! But most of the "frees" go fast, so had to sneak in there before my official grocery day, Thursday. Here's how I roll...
I get my coupons from the Sunday paper, there are also some great links to print coupons if you are missing out on a couple. (I'll share later!). I then print out the list of what I'll use and match up my clipped's and pouch them in the big Pink organizer. AND I love that I can go through and pick out and print a list right off of Teeter's website of the other goodies I'll be snagging that are on sale for the week! (Meal of the Week...HEEEEEEEEY!) So these are my goods from this morning. Mind you my first run was pretty much "treat" food. Stuff we don't normally eat around here, but it was near free, so can't look a gift horse in the mouth, eh?

1 Betty Crocker Warm Delights
1 Betty Crocker Cookie Mix (Peanut Butter)
1 GINOURMOUS bag of Mahatama rice
1 Lawry Seasoning (we use this like CRAZY!)
1 8 pack of Reeses Cups (oh yes, oh yes)
1 HUGE box of Kellogs PopTarts (ie, Mouse's love in life)
1 Bottle of Canola Oil
1 bag of Famous Amos cookies
1 box Duncan Hines Whole Wheat Blueberry Mix
1 small jug of milk for the kiddo

Total Vic Savings: $5.30
Total Coupons: $19.40

TOTAL: $7.28

oh yes, mama likes :)

Easy Breezy Way to Organize your Clippings!

There are plenty of ways to organize your clipped goodness. I prefer the easy to those high priced, fancy fandangled organizers (or the cardboard organizers that dissolve in the bottom of your handbag).
Buy a 3 ring Binder
Buy some baseball card holders

SHAMMO!

Teeter-ific!

I know, know, there are a billion mommy- save -money -clip -coupon- blogs out there. But this is MiMi style :) I'm a Foodie. My sweetheart is a Foodie. We are a mostly organic eating family. I LOVE to buy veggies/fruits/ meats at Farmer's Markets/Fresh Markets. I LOVE to wander through Whole Foods and touch and smell and taste everything.  We eat MOSTLY whole foods/organic foods...but for all the in between there is Teeter! (in my domestic opinion the best place to score deals if you know where to look!) Let me show you .....

Here's my Oatmeal steal! Last week, at HT, Quaker was 2 for $4. See? If you bought 7 Quaker products being a Vic Card holder, you saved an automatic $3! See? I had a $1.25 off from the Sunday Paper off of 2 Quaker products.
So all that luciousness above for $9.75 or roughly $1.39 a box. We are some oatmeal lovers! Ok so here's my tip. Pay attention to the store flyers that come out on Wednesday. They are chock full of goodies you may overlook running through the aisles! Also, get the Sunday paper and clip some coupons.
